JM Cake Club began in Sandy Bay with minimal digital presence, relying on foot traffic from the nearby Woolworths. However, after relocating to Moonah on Main Road, the need for increased business awareness became crucial without the supermarket's draw.

Our journey with JM Cake Club started in Sandy Bay, where we did not initially promote any digital services. However, the move to Moonah marked the perfect time to build their online presence, starting with a landing page.

Tiny landing page beats the giant

We developed their current landing page with essential information for customers. Despite being simple and cost-effective, our SEO-friendly principles ensured the page's effectiveness without requiring ongoing SEO or digital marketing investments, which is an important consideration for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The results speak for themselves. Since 2022, this small landing page has consistently ranked No. 1 or No. 2 for keywords like "cake shop Hobart". It competes with, and often surpasses, well-known stores like Daci&Daci in generating organic traffic.

The remarkable result from JM Cake Club's page was so worthy, by considering it was less—over 30 times on investment, compared to Daci&Daci's eCommerce site, which was developed by us as a team before we start this studio.

Today, the landing page attracts around 2,500 clicks and 190,000 impressions every quarter without any paid promotions or updates. It contributes approximately half of the traffic to their Facebook page, fostering further customer engagement, which is a benefit the owner had not initially anticipated.
